Get in Shape for Your Wedding, Holiday or Big Day

In short

Preparing for an event means working backwards from a fixed date, a wedding, holiday, reunion or photoshoot, with a realistic plan that peaks you at the right time. We coach it 1-to-1, balancing ambition with what your timeline actually allows, so you arrive confident.

A date on the calendar is a powerful motivator. Whether it is your wedding, a beach holiday, a school reunion or a big photoshoot, a deadline focuses the mind in a way that "someday I should get fitter" never does. The key is to use that deadline wisely, with a plan that works backwards from the date and matches your ambition to the time you actually have.

The trap is panic-dieting in the last two weeks and arriving exhausted, flat and stressed. We do the opposite: assess how much time you have, set a realistic target for that window, and structure training and eating so you peak looking and feeling your best on the day. Coached 1-to-1, we keep you on track through the inevitable busy weeks before a big event.

How we plan backwards from your date

The right plan depends entirely on how long you have. We match the goal to the timeline honestly, rather than promising a transformation the calendar cannot deliver.

  • 12+ weeks: real change in shape, strength and conditioning
  • 6 to 12 weeks: noticeable fat loss and tone improvement
  • 3 to 6 weeks: leaner, tighter and more confident
  • Under 3 weeks: look your best on the day, no crash nonsense

How we measure progress

We track waist and other measurements, progress photos and how your outfit fits, checking in against the countdown so we can adjust the pace if you are ahead or behind. The date keeps everything focused and honest.

Avoiding the last-minute crash

  1. Set a sensible target for your specific timeline
  2. Train consistently rather than cramming at the end
  3. Keep eating enough so you look full, not flat and drained
  4. Plan the final week to peak, not to punish yourself
  5. Have a maintenance plan so it does not all rebound after

A realistic timeline

The more notice you give us, the more we can do, twelve weeks or more allows a genuine transformation. Even with a few weeks we can get you looking tighter and feeling more confident. We will always be honest about what your specific window can realistically achieve.

Frequently Asked Questions

My event is only a few weeks away, is it worth starting?+

Yes. Even a short window improves how you look and, just as importantly, how confident you feel. We set a realistic goal and avoid crash tactics that would leave you flat on the day.

Can you really get me wedding-ready in time?+

It depends on your starting point and how long you have. Give us the date and we will tell you honestly what is achievable, then build the most effective plan for that window.

Will I just put it all back on after the event?+

Not if we plan for it. We build habits during prep and set a maintenance plan for afterward, so the event is a milestone rather than a temporary crash you rebound from.

I have a photoshoot, can you help me peak for one day?+

Yes. We can structure the final days so you look your best for the shoot, using sensible methods, not dehydration or extreme tactics that carry risk.

Goals

Build Gym Confidence

Building gym confidence means learning what to do, how to use the equipment, and how to train with good form until the gym stops feeling intimidating. We teach it privately 1-to-1 in a judgement-free setting, so you go from anxious and lost to comfortable and self-assured.

Goals

Build Muscle

Building muscle means adding lean tissue through progressive strength training and eating slightly more, especially protein. We coach the lifts, load them up over time, and track your numbers 1-to-1 so you gain size and strength without wasted months guessing in the gym.

Goals

Carry Groceries and Kids Easily

Carrying groceries and kids easily is about building practical, everyday strength, the ability to lift, hold and carry awkward loads without strain. We coach the exact movements your life demands 1-to-1, so shopping bags, car seats and a squirming toddler stop feeling heavy.

Goals

Climb Stairs Without Breathlessness

Climbing stairs without getting breathless comes down to two trainable things: fitter lungs and stronger legs. We build both progressively 1-to-1, so the LRT overpass, your office stairwell or the walk to your condo unit stops leaving you gasping at the top.

Goals

Core Strength and Flat Stomach

A strong core and a flat stomach are two separate jobs. Core strength comes from training the muscles that stabilise your spine; a flatter stomach comes from losing belly fat. We coach both together 1-to-1, so you get a back-protecting core and a tighter midsection.

Goals

Do Your First Pull-Up

Getting your first pull-up is a specific strength goal with a clear path: build your back and arm pulling strength through progressions like assisted and negative reps until you can lift your full bodyweight once. We coach that ladder 1-to-1 so you actually get there.
