Sports Prep Package: Train for Your Event

In short

Our sports prep package builds the specific strength, conditioning and resilience your event demands, a road race, a hike, a football trial, a martial arts grading. We count sessions back from your date and price it as a goal-focused block. It is fitness performance training, not medical rehab.

Training for a specific event is different from general fitness. A trail run up a Malaysian hill, a football trial, a padel tournament, or a first half-marathon each demand particular qualities, endurance, power, agility, or the resilience to handle the volume. Our sports prep package builds exactly what your goal needs, working back from your event date so every session has a purpose.

We price it as a focused block sized to the time you have. Six weeks before a fun run looks very different from a four-month build to a trek, and we are honest about what is realistically achievable in your window. This is performance and conditioning coaching for fit, healthy people preparing to perform. It is not injury rehab, if you are carrying one, get it cleared first and we will build around it.

What sports prep can target

  • Endurance for a run, ride, hike or obstacle race
  • Power and speed for field or racquet sports
  • Strength and durability to handle training load
  • Sport-specific movement, agility and conditioning

How we count back from your date

Your event date sets everything. We work backwards to build a plan that peaks at the right time, laying a base first, then building the specific qualities, then sharpening before you taper. The number of sessions follows honestly from how many weeks you have, not from how big a package we would like to sell.

Being honest about your window

If you have six weeks before a half-marathon and have not run in a year, we will tell you what is realistic and what is not, rather than promising a personal best. Good prep reduces injury risk and gets you to the start line ready. It cannot compress a year of base into a month, and we will not pretend otherwise.

How to set up sports prep

  1. Tell us your event, date and current fitness level
  2. We assess the specific demands of your goal
  3. We count sessions back to build a peaking plan
  4. Train the right qualities in the right order
  5. Taper sensibly so you arrive fresh and ready

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you guarantee I hit my target time or result?+

No. We build the training that gives you the best shot, but results depend on you, conditions and the day. Anyone guaranteeing a race time is guessing. We promise honest, goal-specific preparation, not a fixed outcome.

Is this suitable if I am carrying an injury?+

Only once it is assessed and cleared. We are performance coaches, not rehab providers. If you have an injury, see a physio or doctor first; once cleared, we will build a plan that trains around and strengthens it.

How many sessions will I need?+

It depends entirely on your event and how long you have. A short fun run needs far less than a mountain trek or a sports trial. We count back from your date and recommend only what the timeline genuinely requires.

What if my event is very soon?+

We will be honest about what a short window can achieve. Even a few weeks of smart prep helps you arrive ready and lowers injury risk, but we will not promise a big performance jump that the time does not allow.

Beginner Starter Package

Our beginner starter package is a small, sensible block, an assessment plus around eight to ten sessions, designed to teach safe technique and build a habit. It is priced honestly with a per-session rate below single bookings, and kept deliberately small so you can prove it works before committing more.

Budgeting for Training

Budget for training by first deciding a monthly amount you can comfortably sustain, then choosing the format that fits it, frequency, location and block size. A smaller plan you keep for months beats an ambitious one you quit. We help you build a plan around your budget, not the other way round.

Cheap vs Quality

Cheap training can mean shared attention, template plans, or inexperienced trainers, but it is not always bad for simple needs. Quality costs more and buys experience, real assessment and adaptation. The honest question is whether the cheaper option meets your actual needs, sometimes it does, often it does not.

Condo Gym Pricing

Condo-gym training is priced like a home visit, RM180-RM350, since travel is the main cost driver. The upside is equipment: you use the gym you already pay maintenance for, so no kit to buy. We assess what your facility has and build the plan around it.

Prices

Corporate Package

Our corporate package brings training to your office or nearby condo gym for small groups of staff. Pricing is per session and scales with group size, so cost per head drops as more join. It suits companies wanting a genuine wellness benefit rather than a token perk, with clear, no-surprise quotes.

Prices

Cost Per Result

Price per session is a misleading number. What matters is cost per result: what you actually pay per kilo of fat lost, per movement learned, or per injury avoided. A cheap session that produces nothing is expensive per result; a pricier one that works can be the better deal.
